    Should have removed the old caulk and cleaned it out better then applied the new caulk. Attention to detail makes a huge difference.

    Well said. I can hardly improve upon your terse assessment but here goes: He pointed out the obvious and did the job badly. The tips that might have been usefull are to take the pressure off of the caulking gun before you set it on the floor. I guess he doesn’t want to rob the neophytes from learning that experience on their own by seeing the pool of ooze on the floor or carpeting. he didn’t show how to cut the tip for someone who has never done it.

    that looks terrible, i caulked my bathtub for the first time in my life n it looks a lot better than that, but i am a glazer n i do do a lot of caulking so im oretty used to it
