Learn how to install a toilet tank to the bowl from a professional plumber in this free home improvement and repair video tutorial. Expert: Bob Street Bio: Bob Street has been in construction for over 25 years. He is a carpenter, plumber, electrician and heavy equipment operator including loaders and back hoes. Filmmaker: Jeff Pence

The video wasnt very clear on how the bolts and gaskets connect between the tank and the bowl. For example, on the new toilet I bought I couldnt figure out if the rubber washer was to remain inside the tank or outside. I think by watching another video I have to connect the rubber washer to the bottom of the tank and then connect the end of that bolt to the toilet with the remaining wing nut.
That shirt is should be used to stop the sewer gas from entering the house.
